I
have been an electronic enthusiastic for as long as I can remember, but
it is sometimes hard for people to understand why do I chose to collect
"old radios" instead of audio, transmitting gear, or any other
electronic items. Three reasons: I always liked antiques; I love
carpentry and restoration and, for me, nothing compares to a good
afternoon at my electronics bench! Antique radios are, thus, the
perfect way to combine all of these passions into a great hobby. The
other part (perhaps more important) is that one can save items that
will otherwise end up forgotten in the dumpster. Why radios? Because I
